Hello, my name is Bill Ultch. I am the pastor at Faith Bible Fellowship. I was born in Mendota, Illinois and grew up in nearby Sublette. I graduated from Moody Bible Institute with a degree in foreign missions in 1975. I first pastored an all Indian church in Elton, Louisiana, serving there for three years.

After this time my family and I followed the Lord’s lead and returned to Illinois, ultimately working in the construction trades. All the while I served as an elder, filled pulpits and taught Sunday School in various churches, wherever the Lord made use of me.

When Faith Bible Fellowship contacted me I felt it would be like any other short term ministry. But the Lord had other plans. After about a year it was evident that God was not doing something temporary. After formally submitting my resume I was accepted as pastor. That was in the year 2000. Now all these years later I still stand amazed at God’s gracious leading and His work in our midst. And I consider it a great honor to preach and lead His people.  To God be the Glory!
